Lifetime Warranty Policy
CoverLite products are guaranteed to the original owner against the life of the product under normal wear and tear against defects in workmanship. Unfortunately, this does not mean your lifetime, but product lifetime.
If a CoverLite product fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this policy. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. Damage not covered under warranty may be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping.
CoverLite lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, regardless of the age of the product, but it does not cover normal wear and tear. Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal use. Regardless of how carefully you use, or how well you care for your CoverLite product, it will eventually begin to show age and wear. Common examples of wear and tear that would not be covered under the lifetime warranty include colors fading, abrasions on the bottom of packs or at the cuffs/pockets from rubbing when you walk and general breakdown of the materials over the years.
For warranty evaluation, your product must be returned directly to the CoverLite Department, 2138 Copper Creek Drive Unit C, Fort Collins, CO 80528. All shipping to Warranty must be pre-paid and insured. CoverLite cannot be liable for lost in-bound packages.
As stated in our warranty policy, the customer pays the shipping charges to send products to the Warranty Department. CoverLite will absorb the return shipping charges using regular mail. If you request that we return your product by UPS Overnight or 2nd Day Air, the additional shipping charges will be billed to you. Shipping charges for all non-warranty repairs are at the owner’s expense.
This warranty is available in the United States and Canada.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights, which vary from state to state.
General Return Policy
If you aren’t thrilled with your purchase, you can return it at any time as long as it’s still in “sellable condition” which means that the item should be unworn (aside from trying it on), unwashed, and devoid of any stains, scuffs, tears, or mysterious smells. Returns are credited to the original payment method, unless received more than 6 months after the purchase date. Returns received after 6 months are reimbursed via CoverLite EGift Card, which is emailed to you.
Oh yeah – proof of purchase is required for all returns. A receipt, packing slip, or anything referencing your order number will work, and no return merchandise authorization is necessary.
If you fail to follow these directions, we will not be able to accept the return and won’t issue a refund. Sorry for being so mean about it.
